Velvet Bucks on the Docket for Mississippi Bowhunters this Weekend

Thanks to this year’s passage of HB 1035, authored by Mississippi Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus Co-Chair and NASC Executive Council Member Rep. Scott Bounds, hunters in the Magnolia State will have an opportunity at a Velvet Buck this weekend. With the purchase of a $10 permit, Mississippi sportsmen and women on private lands and specified WMA properties will have a chance to not only harvest a buck, but to also further contribute to the “user pays — public benefits” American System of Conservation Funding.
