Sporting Industry Pens Letter of Support for Mentored Youth Hunting in New York

Last week, CSF helped lead a letter in New York State encouraging elected officials to make the extremely successful mentored youth deer hunting program a permanent fixture for 12 and 13-year-olds in the Empire State. Following a decade-long effort by the New York Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus, the New York Sportsmen’s Advisory Council, and CSF, this pilot program, launched in 2021-2022, has achieved widespread acceptance and generated thousands of opportunities for youth hunters.
