South Carolina Lifts Public Lands Sunday Hunting Prohibition

South Carolina made a huge stride by largely overturning its antiquated prohibition against Sunday hunting on public lands. Through rulemaking that will allow Sunday hunting on both National Forests and select Wildlife Management Areas starting in fall 2023, the Palmetto State is embracing well-documented and overwhelming public support for Sunday hunting access which will allow hunters to get afield seven days a week on public land (like the vast majority of states allow). CSF was proud to work with legislators from the South Carolina Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus who played a pivotal role in this critical effort

"CSF Just May Be the Best Investment I Have Ever Made."

James L. Cummins, Executive Director of Wildlife Mississippi, President of the Boone and Crockett Club, and CSF Board Member, knows a thing or two about conservation. Between his experience as a wildlife biologist, his time spent on Capitol Hill, and his various volunteer positions, Mr. Cummins has distinguished himself as a sportsman worth emulating. In 2022, Mr. Cummins added another title to that list, CSF Heritage Fund Donor. Please follow this link to learn more about Mr. Cummins story and how you too can provide a voice for America's sportsmen and women via planned giving.
