This week, it is anticipated that the House of Representatives will take up a vote on the Recovering America's Wildlife Act, one of CSF's highest priorities, and a historic piece of bipartisan conservation legislation. Since 2015, CSF has been a leading organization in advocating for the passage of this legislation through participation in the Alliance for America's Fish and Wildlife and by working with members of the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus to develop the legislative text. This bill will invest $1.3 billion annually to state fish and wildlife agencies and $97.5 million annually to Tribal fish and wildlife managers. All told, RAWA could positively impact more than 12,000 at risk species. |
