CSF Joins Lawsuit Against State of California Regarding Firearm Marketing Law

On Friday August 5, a coalition of outdoor groups including CSF sued the State of California in Sacramento’s federal district court. In response to Gov. Newsom’s approval of AB-2571, which seeks to prohibit the marketing of firearms to youth, CSF along with SoCal Top Guns, Safari Club International, and the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation, have brought forth a legal challenge against this vague piece of legislation which negatively impacts youth education programs, will reduce hunting access for young persons, and could stunt R3 efforts in the Golden State.
