South Carolina Public Lands Sunday Hunting Legislation Clears Major Hurdle

Following in the wake of Virginia's recent passage of public lands Sunday hunting legislation, a similar bill in South Carolina is now making its way through the legislature. If passed, HB 4614 would allow hunters to utilize Wildlife Management Areas on Sundays, a major piece of positive momentum in the Palmetto State. Sunday hunting is an economic driver, increases access for sportsmen and women, and supports habitat and wildlife management through the American System of Conservation Funding.
