October 12, 2023 (LEXINGTON, NC) – Yesterday, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) returned to The Tar Heel State for the 19th Annual Wine, Wheels, & Wildlife Event. In partnership with CSF Board of Directors Chairman and NASCAR legend Richard Childress, the event was again hosted at the scenic Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina. “I am honored to be a long-standing partner of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation as they remain dedicated in their mission of protecting and promoting the outdoor pursuits that I, and countless other Americans are passionate about,” said Richard Childress, Chairman and CEO of Richard Childress Racing. "CSF does incredible work to ensure the future of our time-honored traditions and I am proud to host another fantastic Wine, Wheels, and Wildlife event.” For more than 30 years, CSF has been leading the charge to protect America’s incredible outdoor traditions. With representation in every part of the United States, CSF works tirelessly to inform, influence, and defend policies that protect and promote hunting, angling, and recreational shooting. The work done by CSF would not be possible without the support of the outdoor community and our partners and events like this. Wine, Wheels, and Wildlife brings together leaders from the sporting-conservation community including federal and state legislators, advocacy partners, industry allies, and NASCAR representatives for an entertaining evening celebrating the tremendous achievements made by CSF for America’s sportsmen and women. Throughout the evening, attendees were addressed by Medal of Honor award recipient, SGM Patrick Payne and North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson and were inspired by a moving tribute to Old Glory by Vann Morris. "The Wine, Wheels, and Wildlife event is critical in supporting the ongoing efforts of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. As we continue our mission to advance our outdoor traditions both in North Carolina and across the nation, being able to bring together so many leaders from the sporting-conservation community is an unparalleled opportunity,” said CSF President and CEO Jeff Crane. “CSF is grateful for the continued support of Richard Childress in hosting this event for the last 19 years and for his significant support of America’s 55 million sportsmen and women.” CSF would like to extend thanks to all the sponsors who made this event possible.
