Washington, D.C. – The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) is proud to announce the return of its Summer Webinar Series. The series kicks off on June 29 with four informative webinars taking place throughout the summer, culminating in a final webinar on September 21 in honor of National Hunting and Fishing Day. CSF’s expert policy team will be joined by outdoor industry professionals, state policymakers, and conservation advocates, as they address some of the most critical issues to sportsmen and women. This educational programing, free of cost, will dive into complex topics important to our outdoor heritage including wildlife management, the role of state fish and wildlife agencies, constitutional amendments, and the vital role sportsmen and women play in conservation. The dates and titles for this year’s webinars are provided below: Launched in 2021, the Summer Webinar Series is designed to educate legislators, fish and wildlife agency staff, and allied industry and sporting-conservation partners on key issues that came to the forefront in this year’s legislative session to prepare for future policy work in state capitols across the nation. The topics CSF covered last year included public land access, trophy import bans, challenges associated with predator management, invasive species, and issues surrounding forest management on public lands that have the potential to negatively impact both wildlife and hunting. Founded in 1989, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) is the informed authority across outdoor issues and serves as the primary conduit for influencing public policy. Working with the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus (CSC), the Governors Sportsmen's Caucus (GSC), and the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC), CSF gives a voice to hunters, anglers, recreational shooters, and trappers on Capitol hill and throughout state capitols advocating on vital outdoor issues that are the backbone of our nation's conservation legacy.
